  • Name, email, phone number mobile phone number (collected specifically for SMS communications, including multi-factor authentication and account notifications, as well as customer support), and professional credentials (for attorney and medical expert users)

  • Login credentials for account access

b. Case-Related Data

  • Uploaded medical records or legal documents (which may include Protected Health Information or “PHI”)

  • Case notes, comments, and communication through our platform

c. Usage Information

  • IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and activity on our platform

  • Authenticate users and secure access

  • Assign and manage expert case review workflows

  • Communicate updates, confirmations, and support

While SimplexityLegal is not a covered entity under HIPAA, we handle all uploaded medical records and related information in a HIPAA-aligned, privacy-conscious manner. Access to PHI is restricted to authorized personnel and parties engaged for legal case analysis.


8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Accessing the data we hold about you

  • Correcting inaccurate data

  • Requesting deletion

  • Withdrawing consent (if applicable)

11. SMS Messaging and Your Choices

  • SMS Messaging Consent and Opt-Out:
    • By providing your mobile phone number to Simplexity Legal AI, LLC and opting into SMS communications, you are consenting to receive text messages (SMS) from us. These messages are strictly for transactional and security purposes related to your account on simplexitylegal.com, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes, account verification, and password resets. These are non-marketing messages essential for securing and accessing your account.
  • Message and Data Rates:
    • You understand and agree that message and data rates may apply to text messages sent by us, as determined by your mobile service provider. Message frequency will vary depending on your interactions with our services (e.g., login attempts, password reset requests). 
  • How to Opt-Out of SMS:
    •  You can opt-out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive from us. You may also opt-out by adjusting your notification preferences in your account settings within simplexitylegal.com or by contacting us directly at support@simplexitylegal.com. Please note that opting out of SMS messages, particularly those for MFA, may impact your ability to securely access or use certain features of our services. 
  •  For assistance or more information, reply “HELP” to any message you receive or contact us at support@simplexitylegal.com
  •  Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition for accessing or using our core services beyond the specific features requiring phone-based verification.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top. If changes are material, we will notify you through email or our platform.
